Amir RA is an Italian director and cinematographer, born in 1987, of Egyptian descent. He began his studies in Milan, where he lived. In the city of Cairo, he attended the International Academy of Communication and Media Science, specialized in cinematography. He began working for already famous directors in Egypt, the Middle East and Europe.

In Italy he worked with the cinematographer Marco Onorato, winner of a David di Donatello and a European Oscar for the cinematography of Matteo Garrone's "Gomorra." He is currently collaborating on television programs for Rai, commercials and music videos. His short film "I am Fatou" has won many awards in international festivals and, in Italy. "I am Fatou" is available worldwide by Amazon Prime Video. Amir Ra is currently working on his feature film.
